I remember these ads. I was only about 7 or 8 when they were on TV. But I'm pretty sure those were the starting point of me wanting to join the thin blue line!

Ahh, they just don't make them like they used to.
I think a modern day version of this promo may go a long way to help the public appreciate and recognise the work police do for the community, then again that might be wishful thinking.
