RNZAF Iroquois Crash

Post by Johnno on Mon Apr 26, 2010 8:38 pm

Surprised no ones posted a thread about this already.

A sad day made sadder.

My thoughts are with the families and all the members of 3 Squadron and their crews.

I've spent many a time in the back of an Iroquois, good folks, they'll be missed.

RIP crew.
I went to New Caledonia with Dan Gregory on an Army Ex a few years ago. Hadn't realised he'd become a pilot. And Stephen Creegan is a family friend.
Here's hoping for as fast a recovery as can be had and that he can help shed some light on the cause...

R.I.P to the fallen.

I too have spent more time than most in an Iroquois. Fantastic machines, and bollocks to the hype - those boys and girls of the RNZAF are a damn fine, committed and professional bunch. They maintain their equipment like nothing I've ever seen.
