| Taupo police are hunting a man they believe has been responsible for a number of thefts at local backpackers.
Tony Gorrie, 39, was also suspected of having used stolen credit cards.
Constable Ross Humphrey of Taupo police said it was expected Gorrie
would target other accommodation premises and businesses throughout the
North Island.
Gorrie was dangerous and "the sooner he is apprehended the better".
He said Gorrie changed his appearance often, so may be with or without facial hair.
He also had tattoos around his neck line, three skulls on the front
of his neck, and a scorpion on the right side of his neck, which he
normally attempted to hide.
Gorrie was known to carry weapons and had only just been released from prison.
Mr Humphrey urged anyone who knew where he was to contact police.

| KC and BA are both as dodgy as each other so could both be suspects in lots of suspicious activity. 
But the day that they both shout beers will be a day worth taking off!!
