Ummmm Each crest if possible, We have a parade happening in Thames and the lead car willbe my Police car and end may be a Fire chief car... Red Holden with Crest, but I need to seek premission from NZ Fire Dept first to use the crest... going by there web site.

They're pretty tight about other parties using their logos - this forum used to have the Police, St John and Fire crests incorporated into the title banner until we were firmly (but politely) reminded that is illegal to do so! Hence the generic logo we have now.

Thanks Comms, I thought to keep on the right side of everything I'd seek written premission... It seems a shame that some people get a little over excited with logo's etc when trying to restore a little bit of history.

Its the same as my Police Car (as I say, its just a mock up for the parade) its not really based on any car... Don't think they had Holdens as Fire chief cars.

NZFS did have Holden Commodores as executive cars for several years in the late 80's, with VL Commodore sedans as exec plain cars (all white), and Divisional Officer's had marked wagons. St John's also had VN & VL wagons for similar positions. In Auckland, anyway. Hope that helps.
